15 stones located on top and immediately in front of ^wall2. Although the stones are not arranged in regular courses, the structure is solidly built. The spaces between the stones are filled with soil containing abundant pottery sherds and small pebbles. Several of the stones are irregular, roughly dressed rectangular blocks, probably reused from staircase steps. Two stones belonging to the same structure had been removed during the excavation of Trench C2 (C2 Inst. 994), where a large stone block and a smaller associated stone at the same elevation were recorded.
